Partners Guide to Selling Your Property

Buying a house is one of the biggest financial transactions you will make. It is a slow meticulous process which at times can be very stressful. So here at Partners Estate agents, we have produced a guide to the whole process involved in buying a house.
If there is anything at all you are un-sure of, please do not hesitate to ask us at Partners estate agents

Here is the Partners guide to buying your home.

  • Get the details on the property you like and that is in your budget.

  • Arrange with the estate agent for a viewing.

  • If necessary, we can arrange for you to see our financial advisor who will arrange a mortgage for you and help plan your budget.

  • View the property.

  • If this is the property you require make an offer through the estate agent.

  • We will then check the property chain to make sure the sale can go ahead.

  • If you need a mortgage we will inform the vendor that you require a mortgage.

  • All information is strictly confidential.

  • We will then put your offer forward to the person selling the property.

  • We will confirm in writing if your offer has been accepted.

  • We will continue to market the property until contracts are exchanged.

  • You should then appoint a solicitor to act on your behalf.

  • We will then write to all parties and start the process of purchasing the property.

  • At this point we shall treat the property as been under offer. But we are obliged to pass any new offers on to the vendor, unless they instruct us not to.

  • When all references have been obtained the mortgage company will appoint a surveyor to inspect the property and a report will be sent to you as well as the mortgage company.

  • If need be, we will discuss the surveyors report with you. At this point your solicitors should have contacted you.

  • We will keep you up to speed with the progress of your purchase and make sure the sale goes through smoothly and correctly.

  • When all the relevant surveys and documentation is completed on the solicitor’s part. Contracts will be exchanged between your solicitor and the vendors.

  • Once contracts are exchanged you can then discuss possible completion dates with your appointed solicitor.

  • Once the vendors solicitor gives us the completion date and confirmation that every thing is completed we will then release the key’s to your new home
